Why have I lost channels on my TV?

Can you get Freeview without a box?
You do need an aerial to receive Freeview live on TV through the TV Guide but can also view certain channels on internet connected devices without one. If you already have an aerial, make sure the cables are undamaged and connected to the aerial point in your home.
Why can’t I get some TV channels?
First check that your TV is set to the correct Source or Input, try changing the Source or Input to AV, TV, Digital TV or DTV if you haven’t already. If your “No Signal” message is not due to incorrect Source or Input being selected, then it’s most likely caused by a set up or antenna fault.

How do I get Freeview on my television?
Setting up a Freeview-ready TV Plug in the aerial and turn on the TV. If you have a smart TV you’ll be asked for your wi-fi network and password, so have these ready. You’ll then be asked to tune your TV to find the available Freeview channels. This will take three to four minutes.
How do I add channels to my Freeview?
In the installation menu an option normally exists for “Add channels > manual or automatic”. Choose the automatic option, which will then search all UHF channels (DVB-T multiplexes) for new channels and install them into the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide).
