A personal weather station is a set of weather measuring instruments that you can install at your own home or business. The number of instruments can vary, but most personal weather stations include instruments to measure temperature, relative humidity, pressure, rain fall, and wind speed and direction.

How do I start WeeWX?
This is an outline of the process to install, configure, and run WeeWX:
- Read the hardware notes for your weather station. This will let you know of any features, limitations, or quirks of your hardware.
- Install WeeWX.
- Configure the hardware.
- Launch the weewxd program.
- Tune the installation.
- Customize the installation.
How do I uninstall WeeWX?
To uninstall, simply stop weewx and delete the directory /home/weewx. This will delete WeeWX, configuration files, and data. Also remove the startup file previously put into place.
