To open the directional scanner press Alt+D. Alternatively, click the “radar” button (just above the autopilot button) on the left-hand side of the HUD, and when the window with the four items opens, choose the directional scanner.

Can you scan down wrecks in EVE?

Currently you can’t scan down wrecks, only ships, drones, structures etc but NOT the wreck itself. We can see wrecks on D-scan but can’t scan them down even with combat probes.

An unstable wormhole, deep in space. Wormholes of this kind usually collapse after a few days, and can lead to anywhere. This wormhole seems to lead into unknown parts of space. This wormhole is beginning to decay, and probably won’t last another day.

The deviation is the distance between the scan result shown on the map and the actual location of your target.

Can Combat probes find cloaked ships?

Faction police and CONCORD ships are able to locate cloaked ships. If you are being chased by either of them due to low standing or criminal action they will warp to you even if you are cloaked. Offensive area-of-effect modules such as Bombs and Smartbombs will damage cloaked ships but will not decloak them.
